At Kingsford Community School, we believe that enrichment opportunities play a vital role in supporting pupils’ personal development, wellbeing, and future aspirations. To ensure that every pupil benefits from a broad and balanced range of experiences, all pupils are required to attend at least one enrichment club every Monday. Our enrichment programme is designed to provide opportunities across the Department for Education’s five enrichment categories: arts and culture, sport and physical activity, nature and the outdoors, civic engagement, and life skills.

Together, pupils and parents are invited to select clubs that match their interests, talents, and goals. We encourage families to consider activities that will challenge pupils, develop new skills, build confidence, strengthen community connections, and contribute to a rich and rewarding school experience. By participating in a diverse range of enrichment activities, pupils can discover new interests, broaden their horizons, and develop the knowledge, skills, and character needed for future success.

From the Head Teacher: “I would like to encourage you to take advantage of all the opportunities available to you – this is an important time for you to try new things and develop skills you may not have explored before. We expect you to be self-motivated, independent and committed to the school community both inside and outside of the classroom. Joining a club or team is a great way to get involved and take full advantage of the Kingsford experience.”
